Lots of good news in this data - the level of funding activity is up and spread over more countries. The UK, Germany and France lead the way.
UK startups raised $1.8 billion, collecting 40 percent of $4.5 the billion poured into European companies so far this year. German startups brought in $1.3 billion, 30 percent of the continent’s total. For its feat, Britain must thank Q2, when its startups gobbled up a whopping 53 percent of the continent’s investment pot.
