There has been lots of talk about IoT security, and a long list of vendors staking claims to IoT security strategies with slide-ware. I am pleased to see concrete evidence that ARM is taking this seriously and plans to ensure that security is being implemented at the lowest level in IoT devices built on their platform.
British micro-chip designer Arm Holdings will create a new hub in Israel after completing a multi-million pound acquisition of one of the country's leading cyber-security companies. Cambridge-based Arm, whose technology powers 95 per cent of smartphones globally, has sought to protect users of its technology by buying Sansa Security for an undisclosed sum reported at between £54 million and £64 million.
